We are an almost all-girl rockabilly band, playing rockabilly, surf rock, blues, and a touch of country from the 40s through the 60s.

Preachers of Hell County is a psychobilly, hellbilly, and surf trio from just outside Austin. Our sound blends the grit of Hank III with the twang of Dick Dale and the fire of Reverend Horton Heat. It’s high-energy, Southern Gothic, and built for the stage—whether loud and electric or stripped down and unplugged. We bring a raw, roots-driven vibe with a sharp edge and a little swagger.

Danceable, uptempo, slightly hip honky tonk that brings in the best of 60s Bakersfield country and Texas music with a few originals thrown in. Lots of energy, infectious and fun with some obscure covers and plenty of songs by Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Red Simpson, Willie, Waylon and more.
